With over twenty years experience in the fashion industry, Pamela Hanson is a world-renowned photographer whose work has been regularly featured in: Marie Claire (English, American, Australian), Vogue (English, French, American, German, Italian), Glamour (English, American, Italian), Vanity Fair, InStyle, GQ, Allure, D Magazine, Elle, Nylon and Jane. Other clients include: Tommy Hilfiger, Joseph, L'Oreal, Lancome, Lancaster, Maybelline, Halston, Giorgio, Keds, Max Mara, Emporio Armani, Charlotte Ronson, Ann Taylor, Avon, Biotherm, Redbook, Coach, Pantene, Victoria's Secret, Joseph and Les Copains.
In September of 2001, Pamela Hanson released Girls, a 200+ page photo book
filled with personal and professional work, color and black & white images,
that has garnered worldwide success. In Spring 2006, Pamela followed up by
releasing Boys, which features personal and professional images of boys being
boys at all stages of life, a powerful companion to Girls. Pamela Hanson has
directed several television commercials including L'Oreal, Andre Shoes, Stride
Rite Shoes, Chantell, Nivea and Nouveau. In June of 2003, she directed a series
of television spots to raise funds for finding a Juvenile Diabetes cure. Pamela
Hanson's prints have raised innumerable funds for charitable organizations
in New York and across the country, her iconic nudes often among the most
popular.
Pamela Hanson was born in London, grew up in Geneva and educated at the American
school in Lugano, Switzerland. She later attended the University of Colorado
where she pursued her studies in fine arts. She lived in Paris and London
for 15 years before moving to New York 10 years ago. Now based in New York
City, Pamela Hanson has two sons, Nicky and Charlie.
